Welcome to the readme for DOLLY SONG by HOLLY DOLLY
- a file created for the CheeseMix 4 competition on www.ddrextreme.co.uk

This file was created by an anonymous person - I wonder if you can figure out who!

BACKGROUND:-
This song is perfect for a cheesy contest because it is one of the cheesiest summer
hits I know. A lot of different version of this song have popped up over the year
but this one is definitely the cutest! I purchased Holly Dolly's album, and I was
hooked by the bouncy beats and cheesy sound effects that are included in the songs.
I also loved the video and I knew that it would make a great simfile with the
video and the bouncy song and the steps all together so that's why I made it.

SONG:-
Length of edit - 1:38
Edited in Audacity.

BPM of song - 122

Look out for the short BPM stop towards the end!!

STEPS:-
I included 4 sets of single difficulties for you all...

BEGINNER STEPS - 1 foot
- these are fun for new players. My 7 year-old nephew loves playing them!!

LIGHT STEPS - 3 foot
- I tried to follow the main rhythms in the beat and the bass patterns and keep the
constant momentum. I also used some freeze arrows to match the sound effects.

STANDARD STEPS - 5 foot
- This is where I started to have some fun! I love making steps with jumps in them
and I think these steps have lots of fun jumps for you to enjoy. I used more 8th
arrows too to increase the difficulty level, but not too much!

HEAVY STEPS - 7 foot
- These steps will be for the best players, but they still are more fun than
challenging I think. I used a lot of 16ths to match the melodies and I think
these steps go really well with lots of different parts of the song.

GRAPHICS:-
I made the graphics in Photoshop CS2 using a screenshot from the video that I
found on google as well as most of the artist logo from the album cover (I had to
add the "H" at the start myself because it wouldn't cut correctly from the cover!)

VIDEO:-
In the video, you can see Holly Dolly (the big singing dancing donkey) with her
sheep friends performing the song. The video is similar to the style of the
Jamster mobile characters (like Crazy Frog) and it also include an image of the
spinning leek girl from an anime series that featured the original version of this
song. That's why it's sometimes called the Spinning Leek song!!

I hope you enjoy my file. I don't expect to win the competition, but I hope that
at least some people might play my file a lot and have a lot of fun with it!
